Keith Franks retired in 2011 from a 50 year career as a finishing contractor.  Born and raised in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, Keith moved to Vancouver, BC in his early 20's and is proud to call the West Coast his home away from home.  You will see some of his photographs that come from his trips home to visit his mother who turned 101 in 2012! Hopefully this is a sign of another 30+ years of photographic moments with Keith behind the lens.

Over the years Keith has played with photography as a hobbyist. In recent years, with more time on his weathered hands, his keen eye for detail has emerged brightly in the quality of work he produces. Always challenging himself to stay current on the advances in photo-related technology, Keith's work is reflective of these changes including HDR-photography and the utilization of software to create unique, one-of-a-kind art pieces that after painstaking care and hours of work he produces into popular 30"+ canvas selections.

Keith's prints and canvas productions are found in the homes of many of his friends, family and customers he meets by showcasing his work at local galleries and public art events.
